高中英语课文导入技巧举隅

兴趣是最好的老师。教育部新颁布的《英语课程标准》指出:英语课程要面向全体中、小学生,注重素质教育。课程特别强调要关注每个学生的情感,激发他们的学习兴趣,帮助他们建立自信。……为此,我们英语教师要动脑筋,精心设计,以最优化的方式来导入课文,这样才能激发学生的学习兴趣,调动他们的学习积极性,充分发挥其主体性,以达到课堂教学的最优化。笔者结合近二十年的教学实践变一些具体做法。

一、实物导入法

在教学SB2A Unit 2 No smoking, please! 一课时,笔者首先拿出一根烟,问:“What’s this?”生答:“A cigarette!”接站笔者把香烟剥开,指着黄橙橙的烟丝问:“What does it contain!”生答:“A drug called nicotine.”师问:“Is smoking good for our health?”学生回答不一。这样以实物展示,使学生们的观点发生分歧,和者因势利导,说:“OK, now let’s come to the new passageNo smoking, please! After reading, you’ll find out whether your ideas are right or wrong.

二、图画导入法

在教SB2A Unit 9 Saving the earth 一课时,笔者首先向学生们展示了两幅环境遭到破坏的图片,问:“What can you see in the two pictures?”学生回答:“Trees are cut down.”“People throw plastic bags here and there. It is known as ‘white pollution’”简短的问答一下子把学生们吸引住了。随后,笔者说:“A lot of damage is being caused to the world. Our earth is in danger now. We must do something to save the earth.”这样,以图画很自然地导入了新课。

三、故事导入法

在教学SB1B Unit 17 The necklace一课时,笔者首先向学生讲述:There was once a couple in France. The husband was a clerk in the government. They were not very rich, but the wife liked showing off. One day her husband brought an invitation to the palace ball. The wife wanted to wear some jewellery, but they couldn’t afford, they borrowed a necklace from one of their friends. Unfortunately they lost it, so they had to borrow a large sum of money and buy a new necklace.

After that they had to work very hard for 10 years to pay off their debts……以这样一个故事作为开头,设置了悬念,引人入胜,激发了学生的求知欲,他们带着强烈的好奇心去读课文,以全面了解故事的情节。

四、表演导入法

在教学SB2A Unit 3 Body language 一课时,笔者先请几个学生到讲台上来表演,让他们表演各种表情或动作,其他学生来说出其意思,如:nod the head, thumbs down, shake the head, put up a hand, make a face……这样的表演,尽管不是惟妙惟肖,但也确实激发了学生们的兴趣,为课文中更多体态语言的出现作了很好的铺垫。

五、音乐导入法

在教学SB1A Unit 2 Country music, SB2B Unit 21 Music 两课时,笔者先让学生欣赏一首歌或一首乐曲,然后问是谁唱了这首歌或创作了这首乐曲,然后引出更多的歌手或作曲家,并引导出folk music, pop music, modern music, classic music等音乐种类,还有violin, piano, flute, Erhu等乐器。通过歌曲、乐曲、歌手、音乐种类、乐器的展示,让学生对音乐有了充分的感知,使他们对课文的深入学习产生了浓浓的兴趣。

总之,要提高课堂效益,必须激发学生的学习兴趣,其中导入技巧起了非常重要的作用。当然,课文民考试的技巧还远非这些,我们教师若能勤动脑,深入研究,必定会总结出更多的课文导入技巧,为激发学生学习兴趣、提高课堂效益提供充分的保证。
