Payment What kind of Payment Methods do you support? We accept Paypal and major US and international credit cards including Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, JCB, and Diners Club. At this time we are not able to accept payment directly through checks, money order, and COD. However if you have a Paypal account you may fund it with Check or Debit Card depending on your country.
I live outside of US. Can I use GiftVift to send gifts to US? Yes. We accept billing address outside of US. You can approach your local bank to get an international credit card such as Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Diners Club etc. You can also open a free Paypal account and pay using local debit/credit card or bank check. If your credit card does not work in US you can open a free account on paypal.com and pay with local credit/debit card or check. Paypal is available in 190 countries including UK, Australia, India, China, Philippines.
Shipping & Delivery Do I have to pay shipping for every item in my order? No. GiftVift offers a flat rate shipping charge based on your order amount. If the items are being shipped to same address and on same date you can include multiple items in the same order.
Can you deliver at a specific time such as after 6pm or before 9am or midnight delivery? For hand-delivered items we may call before delivery to mutually identify the best time for delivery. Midnight deliveries are not available in US.
For shipped items we cannot arrange a specific delivery time. However this is usually not a problem. The shipping company may leave the package at the house door if appropriate or leave a notice so recipient can pickup from the local shipping office or reschedule delivery. Apartments usually provide methods such as lock box or package is left with the management office.
For certain shipped items such as wine, champagne, watches etc we require recipient signature. If recipient is not home at time of delivery a notice is left and they may request re-delivery or pick up from the shipping company's local office.
How long will it take for my order to be delivered? Hand-delivered items can be delivered next-day or same-day if we receive the order before 10am CST. Some hand-delivered items may require an additional day for delivery.
Delivery time for shipped products depends on the shipping method you select. We offer 3 shipping methods - Standard, Expedite, Urgent. Specific delivery duration and rates are available on the "Shipping Rates" page.
Weekends, Holidays and the day the order is shipped are not counted for shipping purposes. Example - 2-day shipping method means that order placed after 10am on Monday is shipped on Tuesday and delivered on Thursday.
Can I place the order in advance for delivery at a much later day? If you are an individual customer may place you order up to 60 days in advance. We will hold your order and ship on the appropriate day. Corporate and Bulk orders can be placed up to six months in advance.
Can you deliver to a PO Box? We can ship most gifts from these categories to a PO box - Chocolates, Plush, Perfumes/Cologne, Watches, Houseware, Gift Cards. The only cakes we can send to a PO box are Blackforest Chocolate Fudge Cake and Lemon Cake; the recipient will have to make sure to pick it up on the day of delivery. Items that need signature cannot be shipped to a PO box.
Order Changes and Cancellations I entered wrong address or delivery date or product. How do I change it? We will be glad to make changes for you. Its usually not a problem if the order has not been shipped. Please contact us immediately through the "Contact Us" page.
Can I cancel my order? Not a problem. You may cancel your order before it is shipped. Please contact us immediately through the "Contact Us" page.
Corporate and Bulk Orders Can you arrange for gift delivery for employees on their Birthdays and Anniversaries? Our Corporate Department specializes in gifts for your employees on specials occasions such as Birthdays, Anniversaries, Birth etc. Studies have shown that sending a Gift or Gift Card to an employee builds relationship, improves employee retention, and increases employee throughput & motivation. Please place the order online. If you have more than 100 orders you may request an Excel template to provide order data.
Can you arrange for gift delivery for employees or customers on Christmas, Diwali, New Year etc? Our corporate department specializes in Bulk Orders. We will be glad to help you. Please use the information in "Contact Us" page to reach us.
Remember, spending a little to build that personal relationship with your employees or customers goes a long way. Resellers I like your products and would like to become a reseller. We are interested in expanding our reseller network to include businesses outside of US that have the capability to process local payments in their country. We provide a drop-ship catalog that is available to members only and 10% discount over retail price. You may set your own pricing.
I am a reseller. How do I place orders. After you have signed up for membership you may start selling products in the Dropship catalog in your store or web site. To place the order sign-in on GiftVift.com and place the order online. You will receive 10% discount on all products in the Dropship catalog. After an order is shipped the shipment tracking# is emailed to you. You can also view your order history from your Account History.
